or2or (OmniRig to OmniRig)

or2or is a simple OmniRig utility software, it let you to connect via LAN or WAN two PC where two Omnirig sessions are running or interconnect Radio1 and Radio2 locally, in one PC, always via OmniRig interface..

Remote Scenario: PC1 is the local pc (at home), PC2 is a remote pc (everywhere, but also at home).
From local PC is possible to change frequency and mode to a remote radio (SDR, RTX, RX, etc...), is possible to control the remote VFO simply moving local VFO A or VFO B. With VFO B knob is possible to control the frequency of the remote radio like if you have two indipendent local RX, usefull for diversity RX or RX while transmitting.

Local Scenario: PC1 is the only PC.
With same PC is possible to change frequency and mode to OmniRig Radio2 (SDR, RTX, RX, etc...) working on OmniRig Radio1, is possible to control the VFO simply moving Radio1 VFO A or VFO B. With VFO B knob is possible to control the frequency of the Radio2 like if you have two indipendent RX, usefull for diversity RX or RX while transmitting.
No ethernet needed.

Exchanging local VFO A<>B you can set remote frequency directly to the local RTX, almost like a SO2R.
It could be useful for top bander moving local TX and remote RX frequency together.
The limit is your fantasy!

If remote radio is far from you, you can use a VOIP software to hear from remote RX.

Some simple instructions

Remote: On the remote PC start or2or and check "Receive Data", then close and start it again. It'll wait for a remote connection ("listening...") while will be ready to transfer data to remote radio via OmniRig (you have to configure it before).
In the local PC start or2or, be sure your radio is connected to OmniRig. Fill the correct Remote IP address or the remote DNS name with the remote port number, then press "Connect Socket". Now moving VFO knobs you change in real time the frequency of the remote radio.
You can choose to change remote frequency with VFO A or VFO B of local radio.

Local: Start or2or and check "Local". If is OmniRig properly configured then working on VFO A or B of Radio1 you should see effects on VFO A or B of Radio2.

Installation and requirements

or2or don't need to be installed, just unzip and paste into a folder, the only requirements it need are at least: Windows XP SP3, Microsoft Framework 4.0 and, of course, OmniRig.

or2or is not for TX use, it's intended only for reception. or2or is distrubuted as is with no warranty of any kind. It use is under the only final user responsibility.
Remember that Radio remoting sistems are forbidden by almost all contest regulations!
