Unfortunately with the first rain drops the signal was cancelled from my spectrogram. But I don&#8217;t know if this is the real cause of the signal disappearance.<br \/>\nHere the detail of captured spectrogram where is possible to see the weak signal.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IW4DXW8k.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IW4DXW8k.jpg\" alt=\"IW4DXW8k\" width=\"480\" height=\"82\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1476\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IW4DXW8k.jpg 480w, https:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IW4DXW8k-300x51.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IW4DXW8k-150x26.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IW4DXW8k-400x68.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Blue arrow for the trace, the red one the signal peaking.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The distance from me and Riccardo is about 385 km, 10 km more than from<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vlf.it\" target=\"_blank\">Renato Romero<\/a> that received and decoded some EbNaut signal from IW4DXW.<br \/>\nTo receive the 14uW radiated from Riccardo&#8217;s antenna I&#8217;ve used a 40 turns loop on NW-SE orientation.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/loopVLF-ik0vve.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/loopVLF-ik0vve-768x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"loopVLF ik0vve\" width=\"640\" height=\"853\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1479\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/loopVLF-ik0vve-768x1024.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/loopVLF-ik0vve-225x300.jpeg 225w, https:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/loopVLF-ik0vve-113x150.jpeg 113w, https:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/loopVLF-ik0vve-400x533.jpeg 400w, https:\/\/www.ik0vve.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/loopVLF-ik0vve.jpeg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On top is possible to see a whip antenna always for VLF, I&#8217;ve tried to use both antennas together, but their proximity caused some problem mixing the signal of the whip in the loop and viceversa.
